The Hartford extends online billing and payment for policyholders

The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. announced on July 18 that in addition to self-administered policyholders, electronic billing and electronic payment functionality is now available to list bills for New York and New Jersey customers with 10 covered lives or more. The functionality is available through Employer View(R), the company's secured customer Web site. To meet the market's growing desire for online billing and payment options that increase administrative efficiency and reduce related costs, The Hartford has expanded the availability of electronic billing and electronic payment. The functionality is easy, convenient and free. SIMSBURY, Conn. — The Hartford Financial Services Group, Inc. announced on July 18 that in addition to self-administered policyholders, electronic billing and electronic payment functionality is now available to list bills for New York and New Jersey customers with 10 covered lives or more. The functionality is available through Employer View(R), the company's secured customer Web site.

To meet the market's growing desire for online billing and payment options that increase administrative efficiency and reduce related costs, The Hartford has expanded the availability of electronic billing and electronic payment. The functionality is easy, convenient and free.

Employer View, the Web site through which electronic billing and payment are available, also provides customers with easy access to a host of information, including current benefit details, rate information, and access to booklet documents and forms.

The Hartford is the second largest seller of group disability insurance in the United States (LIMRA International, 2002 Sales Results Survey).
