Shhhh.  Helmer Risk Management's Platinum Pipeline Program is working so well, one of its clients wants to keep its cost savings under wraps for fear of losing its competitive advantage when it comes time to bidding on projects. The client, a pipeline contractor, has cut insurance costs by 30 percent, resulting in a savings of more than $600,000 annually across all lines of insurance coverage.

But those tremendous savings are not the only benefit this unnamed client is seeing. According to Scott A. Helmer, president and CEO of Helmer Risk Management, the client is enjoying the personal attention it receives from Helmer and his staff.

"I was able to identify several areas of risk that were not being covered by the client's prior insurance program and broker. We left no stone unturned."

The Platinum Pipeline Program is designed to meet the needs of qualified oil and gas pipeline contractors. In creating the program, Helmer Risk partnered with three of the largest insurance carriers in the world. The program is targeted for U.S. oil and gas contractors with both domestic and international operations who are member companies of the Distribution Contractors Association, Pipe Line Contractors Association, and
American Pipe Line Contractors Association..

Contractors qualified to take part in the program receive significant insurance cost reductions and are rewarded for proactive measures addressing environmental, safety, and health issues on the job.
