There's a new player vying for business in the security and risk industries-RiskWatch Consulting Services, a new division of RiskWatch, Inc.
As part of its services, RiskWatch Consulting will develop a comprehensive continuity program designed to protect a business from disruptive events. It will provide full-service risk assessment, risk analysis, and continuity planning to mitigate IT and business outages. The service includes compliance, risk, and safety assessments as well as a business impact analysis to identify and prioritize a company's critical business functions and key resource dependencies.
RiskWatch has more than thirty consultant partners who will be available to perform local and regional services under a new agreement. These consulting associates are certified and were previously employed at some of the largest consulting firms.
The consulting partners will work under the leadership of Raymond A. Jean, formerly of IBM Global Services, who has been named the director of RiskWatch Consulting. Jean comes to the company with experience in risk and business continuity consulting.
"I used RiskWatch on a variety of engagements at IBM and have always thought that the business intelligence and risk approach built into RiskWatch is the starting point for any organization that wants to improve its security, continuity, and emergency response in an analytical manner," Jean said. "The consulting practice will enable RiskWatch to improve its service to customers and also to accept new consulting engagements."
RiskWatch clients include every cabinet-level agency at the federal level, state governments in all 50 states, and a variety of hospitals, banks, energy companies, biotech companies, and consulting companies.
