Glenn Maykish, CIEB senior director of North American sales and client management, said his company created the podcasts to make the transition to expatriate life easier for its members. The podcasts will “prepare members for obstacles and challenges they may face while living and working abroad,” he added.
By listening to the podcasts, international travelers can get essential pre-departure, arrival, and adjustment information, as well as explanations of the resources available to members while they are away. Those resources include a multilingual contact center open 24/7, Web-based country guides, and ePayment PlusSM, which provides members with electronic deposits of claim payments in local currency.
