Guidewire Software Wins Several VIP Honors |

Guidewire Software® has earned the respect of the insurance industry.
The technology provider, which caters to the property-casual insurance
industry, won several awards in the 2008 Vanguards in Insurance
Practices (VIP) insurance industry technology solution provider
ranking. Results were based solely on votes received from insurance
carriers and agents as announced by Insurance Networking News and
analyst firm Celent.
Guidewire’s VIP awards include first place in the Point Solutions category and second place in the Integrated Systems category.
In Phase II of the VIP Awards program, top-ranked technology providers could nominate an insurance carrier customer they considered “visionary” for its use of specific technology. Guidewire won second place in the Technology Best Practice in Action along with its customer, Canal Insurance, a trucking insurance provider.
“This is an especially gratifying honor for all of us at Guidewire since these awards are decided by the industry,” said John Raguin, CEO of Guidewire Software. “We are also very appreciative of the Best Practices award recognition we have received with our customer Canal Insurance based on their Guidewire ClaimCenter® project.”
Canal Insurance was an early adopter of Guidewire’s claims management solution and has been very successful with the system.
