Blue Cross and Blue Shield Affiliate of Virginia among Those Chosen as ‘Best of Blue’

During its annual Federal Employee Program (FEP) National Conference, Blue Cross and Blue Shield awarded the 2007 Best of Blue FEP Plan Excellence® winner to Anthem Blue Cross.

Included in the awards were plans from Anthem’s affiliates in California, Colorado, Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Maine, Missouri and Virginia. Also receiving the award was Empire BlueCross BlueShield. All plan winners scored 100 or more points out of possible 120 in the Service Profile and Strategic Profile categories.

"We have a tenured, experienced and committed team that truly cares about our members,” said the president of Anthem Blue Cross, Leslie A. Margolin.  She added that she was, “very proud that our plan was recognized and rewarded for its outstanding service on behalf of FEP."
