Columbus Life Insurance Company is keeping it real.

The insurer has unveiled its 2008 “Real People. Real Relationships.” advertising campaign. The three-ad series features independent insurance agents who sell Columbus Life products.

Depicted in the campaign are world traveler Kathleen Niew of Niew Financial Services, Inc., in Oak Brook, Ill.; business partners Jim Forbis and Larry Clayton of CFH Financial Services, Inc., in Memphis, Tenn.; and youth football coach Royce Ruth of Strategic Legacy Advisors, Inc., in Lincoln, Neb.

“Who better to illustrate our theme of ‘Real People. Real Relationships.’ than those who can tell it best?” said Charlie Wood, senior vice president and chief marketing officer for Columbus Life.

Wood explained that in the ads, the independent agents shared their personal anecdotes on why their relationships with Columbus Life are so strong.

“All of us at Columbus Life feel the same about our relationships with each of them,” Wood added.

The ad series is scheduled to run throughout 2008 in national life insurance and financial services publications. The campaign targets independent producers and encourages them to ad Columbus Life products to their portfolios.
