If you thought you were going to get a check from Social Security when you turned sixty-five, you may be in for a shock. Reports put out by the Social Security Board of Trustees estimate that by the year 2042 Social Security will be bankrupt. The reason, 78 million baby boomers who will eligible for benefits and fewer workers paying into the program.
