On November 19th, American Express Financial Advisors Inc. released results from a 2003 national survey measuring the impact of recent health care cost increases on workers' financial health.
 

Older Doesn’t Equal Wiser When It Comes to Understanding Auto Insurance

According to a recent on-line survey by Progressive, knowledge about auto insurance does not improve with age. Progressive (third largest autho insurance group in the US) surveyed 1,000 teens and 1,000 adults, and found that adults generally had no more understanding about their auto insurance worked than did the teenagers.

Insurance Agency Pays $75,000 to Software Licensing Watchdog Group

The Business Software Alliance (BSA), a watchdog group representing leading software manufacturers, announced last week that ALCOS, Inc., an insurance and employee benefit services company located in Sterling Heights, MI, paid BSA $75,000 because of software copyright infringement. A self-audit at ALCOS revealed more copies of Adobe, Apple, Macromedia, Microsoft and Symantec software programs on its computers than the company had licenses to support.
