Superintendent of Insurance Gregory V. Serio announced that the latest independent study of New York State’s Healthy NY program indicates that Healthy NY has been successful in meeting the challenge of providing working New Yorkers with affordable quality health insurance. Steady progress has been found in Healthy NY’s structure and enrollment and the report predicts that improvements in the program in 2003 will continue to generate increased enrollment in 2004. |

One million dollars collected by the State Auditor’s Office will be used toward Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP). “CHIP is good for the children, it’s good for the Montana economy, and its helps control the cost of health insurance for all of us, it just makes sense,” said John Morrison, Montana State Auditor. |
