The eroding effect inflation has on investors’ nest eggs is gaining the attention of America’s millionaires.

That’s one of the conclusions drawn from the ninth edition of the Phoenix Wealth Survey, recently released by Phoenix Companies Inc., whose clientele consists of consumers with a high net worth.

April Holmes, a paralympic athlete has become the spokesperson for the LIFE Foundation’s Disability Insurance Awareness Month (DIAM) campaign.  Holmes, a track star, will be traveling to Beijing in September to compete in the Paralympic Games in the 100- and 200-meter dashes. Here at home, however, she will be encouraging working Americans to make sure they are “on track” with regard to disability insurance.
 

Assurant Honors Iraq War Veteran with Shining Star of Perseverance Award

 J. R. Martinez is a hero, both for his service in Iraq and his inspiration to the disabled in America.

For his service, inspiration, and perseverance in the face of his own difficulties, the WillReturn Council of Assurant Employee Benefits will present its annual Shining Star of Perseverance award to Martinez on May 21.
